As Man makes money
How sweet is honey?
That it sweetens the heart.
How tempting is money?
That it makes man disobey
Money makes man haughty
Honey makes man hearty.
Money is treacherous
As it cleaves bonds
Honey is delicious
As it creates loving bonds.
Haven’t you felt the pain money brings?
Haven’t you watched the evil it does?
Haven’t you seen its injustice?
So why do you still love money?
Haven’t you tasted honey?
Haven’t you called her honey?
Love is honey
Money is not honey.
