Sometimes I think I am slow
But then I still have to grow.
Well, time waits for no one
Neither does age look past anyone
Just as the last enemy swallows up everyone.
Look into your own face
How wrinkled are your days ?
Look into the mirror
How guilty are your shadows?
Tell me who knows?
Who stretched colours into rainbows …
Who knows today and tomorrow…
Who planted boneyards below …
Who put life in marrows …
Tell me who knows?
Life is not a grand show
Do not rush to glow
Let the sun set below
Then u will see your afterglow
Let the rains cry out
Then u will see your fruits spring out.
What we sow
We shall grow
What we plant
We shall reap.
What is a slave without a Master ?
What is a son without a Father ?
What is a pot without a Potter ?
What is a man without the Creator ?
Sometimes when I think I have lost the race,
I remember that life is not a dash race.
Our life is not a race to lose to be disgraced
But a race to be won with undeserved grace.
